Your internship experience in the behavioral health field is a vital part of your educational journey and offers an excellent opportunity for you to experience, first-hand what working in this profession offers.

Internships are available to students currently enrolled in school seeking an internship as part of their degree completion. LifeWays accepts internship placement for students studying several different subjects.

OUR POPULATIONS

Clinical internships will provide students with practical hands-on work experience in a human services work environment working with our populations.

  • Adults with Severe Mental Illness
  • Children with Severe Emotional Disturbance
  • People with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities
  • People with Substance Use Disorder

Throughout your time with us, you will have an opportunity to observe and be part of the vast array of clinical services LifeWays provides to consumers in the Jackson and Hillsdale communities. While you are interning with us, it is essential that you are an active participant in learning.
